No matter how good a life we try to live, it does not cover all the wrong actions that we take. We are all very far from being a good person, because we are all sinners. We all have not achieved God’s desire for us to be holy. The Bible says: “There is no righteous one” (Romans 3: 10). The Bible also says: “because everyone sinned and deprived of the glory of God” (Romans 3: 23). This is because without Jesus Christ we cannot become who should be.
The Bible tells us: “But God proves His love for us by the fact that Christ died for us when we were still sinners” (Romans 5: 8). This is the Good News that God, who created us, loves us so much that He sent His only Son to die in our place, when we least deserved it. Jesus received the punishment we deserve. He, however, did not remain dead! He rose from the dead and is alive today … You can trust him!
The Bible says: “So faith is by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10: 17).
Jesus said: “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; but whoever does not believe will be condemned (Mark 16:16).” Therefore, I told you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that it is I, you will die in your sins “(John 8:24).” For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life “( John 3:16).
Jesus said, “No, I tell you, but if you do not repent, you will all perish in the same way” (Luke 13: 13). The Bible tells us: “So leaving the times of ignorance, God now commands people everywhere to repent” (Acts 17: 30).
Jesus said: “Therefore, everyone who confesses Me before people, I confess also that before My Father Heavenly, and who denies Me before people, I also deny before My Father Heavenly” (Matthew 10: 32-33). The Bible tells us: “Philip said to him: if you believe with all your heart, you can. He answered: I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God” (Acts 8: 37). The Apostle Paul wrote: “because with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10: 10).
“Peter said to them: repent, and may each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2: 38). The apostle Paul said: “What shall we say? Do we remain in sin so that grace may increase? No way. We died for sin: how do we live in it? Do you not know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? ? So, we were buried with Him by baptism of death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we can walk in a renewed life. For if we are connected to Him with the likeness of His death, we must be united with the likeness of the resurrection, knowing that that our old man was crucified with Him, so that the body of sin would be abolished, lest we to be already slaves to sin “(Romans 6: 1-6). The Bible says: “All of you who were baptized into Christ are clothed in Christ” (Galatians 3: 27). “Let’s take for comparison the human body – it is one, but there are many organs in it, but all the organs, although there are many, make up one body. This is Christ, for we are all baptized with the same Spirit to become one body: Jews and Greeks, slaves and free. We were all given to drink the one Spirit. ” (1th Corinthians 12: 12-13). The Bible also tells us: “that they once refused to submit to God, in those times when God patiently waited for Noah to build the ark. A few were saved in it by water, only eight souls. This is a symbol of baptism that now saves you. Baptism is not washing away the dirt from the body, but a promise made by a clear conscience to God that saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ. “(1 of Peter 3: 20-21).
